Mangalore, Dec 26: Christmas was celebrated at Rosario Cathedral Church here on December 25 evening from 6 pm to 9.30 pm.
A tableau depicting scenes from the life of Jesus Christ was performed on the occasion. The tableau, organized by the Rosario Youth Movement and Catholic Sabha, moved through Pandeshwar, Marnamikatta, Jeppu Market and Bolar (Livel).
The tableau was organized at a cost of Rs 50,000 under the guidance of Binoy D'Silva. It is performed as part of Christmas celebrations once in every two years.
Among those present were president of Catholic Sabha Harold D'Souza, Secretary Myna D'Souza, RYM President Shaun Rodrigues, Fr. Stany Goveas, Parish Priest, Rosario Church and Fr. Alex Noronha, Asst. Parish Priest.
