M’lore: Senior Citizens Usher in X'Mas Fest at Valencia Day Centre

Mangalore, Dec 24: Christmas Celebration at Valencia Day Centre was held filled with the senior citizens. The function started in the evening at 4.30 pm on Saturday, Dec 23. The surroundings were made colourful with the crib,  X'mas tree and other decorations that immensely attracted the elderly who participated in the function with a great deal of enthusiasm. More than 50 elderly from Valencia and Bejai were present on the occasion.  

 
The programme started with Christmas carols accompanied by the Orchestra . Fr. Regimon Jackob MSW student of Roshni Nilaya who was Master of the Ceremony, welcomed the gathering.  The trustee of Vishwas Celine Aranha gave the Christmas message. It was followed by spot games, dance, with Christmas Carols sung right uptil the end of the function. 

  
 
The traditional Kuswar and soft drinks were served to all.  The vote of thanks was given by Felcy Pinto, secretary of Vishwas trust.
