Bantwal: Newly-built St Antony’s Chapel at Goodinabali Blessed

Bantwal, Dec 18: Fr Peter S Noronha, parish priest of St Sebastian Church, Bendore, blessed the newly-built St Antony’s chapel, located at Goodinabali, here on Sunday December 16 morning.

Ramanath Rai, ex-transport minister, unveiled the flak.  Fr Peter S Noronha offered the Holy Mass at the newly-erected St Antony’s chapel.  Fr Arun Lobo, assistant parish priest of Bantwal church, preached the homily.

Fr Roque D’Sa, presided over the stage programme, held later on.  Fr Peter S Noronha, was the chief guest while Ramanath Rai, Fr Arun Lobo, Prakash Shetty, member of Thumbay Gram Panchayat, Shailesh, local assistant of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), Vithal Ullal, engineer, Valerian D’Cruz, donor were the guests of honour present on the dais.  

The programme began with the prayer dance.  Sharon Maria read the report.Benny D’Souza, ward leader welcomed.  Joy D’Cruz delivered vote of thanks.  Sunil Lewis compered the programme.
