Kundapur: Goods Tempo-Bus Collision Leaves One Dead

Kundapur, Dec 17:
In a collision between a goods tempo and a private bus at Kumbhashi coming under Kundapur police limits, the driver of a goods tempo was killed instantly on the spot, here on Sunday December 16.
 
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Prasad (32), a resident of Pithrody near here. According to police sources, the goods tempo was going to Karwar form Malpe, while on the other hand the private bus was on its way to Kundapur to Udupi.
 
Another occupant of the tempo Srinath Tandel was injured in the accident, informed police sources. A case of rash and negligent driving has been registered by the police against the bus driver in this regard. Further investigations are in progress.
