Mangalore, Dec 16: ‘Bonglo’, a popular Konkani comedy show, was staged to packed crowds in Don Bosco Hall in the city on Sunday, December 16. 

It was the third show held across the city by ‘Asal Kalakal Manglur’, a professional Konkani stage troupe.  The show was organized by Catholic Sabha Manglur Pradesh, City deanery, in aid of development works undertaken at the deanery. 

The proceeds of the show will be utilized for the development works of the city deanery, consisting of 12 parishes, namely, Angelore, Bondel, Derebail, Cordel, Fermai, Bejai, Kuloor, Kelarai, Shaktinagar, Paldane, Vamanjoor and Neermarga. 












Alwyn C Veigas, Felix Lasrado, Nellu Permannur, Stephen Mathias, Shawn Rodrigues, David D’Souza, Abraham Pasanna, Blasius Monteiro, Leena Crasta, Celine D’Souza and Dimple Pinto formed the cast of the show,  which enthralled the audience and sent them into a non-stop session of laughter. 
 
The play has been written by Nellu Permannur and directed by Alwyn C Veigas, with music from Satish Suratkal, Felix Lasrado, Vanil Veigas and Prakash Fernandes.
