Mangalore, Dec 15: The entrepreneurs should possess simplicity like that of the farmers, because the entrepreneurs are just like farmers, said Subroto Bagchi, chief operating officer, MindTree Consulting Limited.

He was speaking after inaugurating the ‘Entrepreneurship in India and China’, international research meet held as a part of the silver jubilee celebrations of T A Pai Management Institute Manipal here on Friday December 14.

He further said that the land of the farmer his not only his economic source but it also feed millions of people. Similarly the entrepreneurs should know that wealth is not only ownership. Wealth can be good only when it is used for the common good, he added.

He further said that the entrepreneurs in India do not celebrate their victory. Only the few such as Mittals, Ambanis, Tatas and other few organizations celebrate the victory, he added.

The local entrepreneurs too should celebrate their victory when they excel in their field, he informed.

In India, education is in the clutches of politicians, said K K Pai, governing council chairman, TAPMI.
