M'lore: Petty Thieves Nabbed - Valuables worth Rs 2 Lac Recovered

Mangalore, Dec 14: The city policemen led by Vinay Gaonkar arrested a thief hailing from Tamil Nadu (TN) and recovered jewellery worth Rs 75 thousand and nabbed other certain, Aziz A Nawaz, resident of Somawarpet, in Hassan and recovered mobile handsets, TV and other items, altogether worth Rs 1.24 lac.  

The police have recovered jewellery which was stolen by Cheluva, hailing from TN in the house of Abdul Rahman, Bhatkal bazaar here, Dongarakeri here and B V Nagaraj, residing at Vyasanagar, Kadri here and recovered jewellery worth Rs 75 thousand from a jewellery shop located in Karkala on Sunday December 9.

The police have recovered 22 mobile handsets of various makers, 1 TV, 1 home theatre and 1 camera worth Rs 1.24 lac, which was stolen by Aziz A Nawaz from an electronic shop owned by Abdul Sameer, located near Rao and Rao circle in the city, from his native house at Adkattabail, in Kasargod district on Thursday December 13.
