Udupi, Dec 12: Art competition was held on behalf of 74th Kannada literary meet here recently. The 74th Kannada literary meet began from Wednesday December 12, informed PN Acharya, president of the committee.
The awards in the said competition will be presented during the meet.
In photo section, Hemanath Padubidre's Kambala photo stood first. In shilpa section, Vishweshwara Parkala, principal of Chandrakalashala, Parkala near here stood first. In oil paint section Manjunath Bailoor for boothada kola, Chandrashekar M Rao for teru and G Satyashankar Rao for kambala won prizes.
Peter Louis, Ganesh Somayaji Mangalore and Uppunda Chandrashekar Holla were the judges for this competition, he added.
