Mangalore, Dec 11: Art beat 2007, a south zone inter-collegiate cultural fest will be organized by the faculty of arts of St Aloysius College here at college premises on Thursday December 13 and Friday December 14, informed Prof Ligoury Mendonca, dean of faculty of Arts.

He was speaking at press conference here on Monday December 10.

He further said that this year the theme for the fest is ‘Mudra, the language of expression.

The fest will be inaugurated by Fr Francis Lewis, director, Sandesha Foundation of Culture and Education at 10 am on Thursday December 13, he informed. Fr Swebert D’Silva, principal of the College will preside over the function, he added.

Various competitions will be held as part of the fest. The valedictory will be held at 4 pm on Friday December 14.

Denis Fernandes, convener and Dhiraj Sequeira and Madhuri, student coordinators were present at the press meet.
