Bangalore, Dec 11 (mb): Between November 29 and December 9, this couple bought jewellery and other valuables worth Rs 2.50 lakh using three stolen credit cards.
Now, Pilakal Nazir is cooling his heels behind bars, while his wife is on the run. G N Mohan lost his wallet near South End Circle on November 29.
When he realized his credit cards were being used, he lodged a complaint with the Basavanagudi police. The police laid a trap and nabbed Nazir.
Nazir and his wife Tasmin Taj went on a shopping spree at Jayanagar and Commercial Street.
The police recovered the gold ornaments and two mobile phones bought by the couple.
A search is on to track down Tasmin.
