Mangalore, Dec 10: The feast of Our Lady of Pompei was celebrated on Sunday December9 December at Urwa Church grounds. The solemn Eucharist was celebrated by Bishop Aloysius Paul D'Souza of Mangalore at 5.30 pm along with 20 concelebrants.
Fr Stany D'Souza SJ preached an inspiring and touching homily in Kannada. Thousands of devotees participated in the celebration. After the Mass there was a Eucharistic procession followed by fireworks at the end.
