Udupi, Dec 9: In the memory of late Mulki Sunder Ram Shetty, a pioneering banker and the ex-chairman of Vijaya Bank, an Inter-Collegiate Volley ball tournament was organized here on Saturday December 8.
 

Alvas and SMRS college won the trophy at the competition and at the boys final Alvas team defeated Puttur St Philomena college team and bagged the first place. Ravi a student of Alvas college was selected as the best player of the tournament.
 

In the ladies final, SMRS college defeated Barkur government college team and grabbed the first prize and Sumya won the best player award. Shirva station-in-charge N C Ganesh gave away the prizes to the winners.
 
On the occasion, physical education director Surendra Shetty, college principal prof Y Bhaskar Shetty, Vijay Bank manager M Ramchandra Rao and Hindu Pre University college principal S V Ganapathi were present.
