M'lore: M V Kamath Bags Outstanding Manager Award-2007

Mangalore, Dec 8: Chairman of Prasar Bharathi M V Kamath has been chosen by Mangalore Management Association (MMA) for its outstanding Manager Award 2007.
 
The award will be presented to Kamath at a function organized at the Sri Dharmasthala Manjunateshwara College of Business Management Auditorium here on Monday, December 10. 
 
Speaking to press, association president M Shekara Pujari, Ananthakrishna chairman of Karnataka bank said he will be the guest of honour on this occasion. Kamath will be felicitated by vice-chancellor of Mangalore University K M Kaveriappa.

    Chairman of Prasar Bharati, Mr. M.V. Kamath, is a well known and highly acclaimed journalist and in the 1980s I used to read his column that used to appear in the Mid-day quite regularly. Mr. Kamath is a fearless journalist without mincing words and would target many corrupt and incompetent politicians.
