Mangalore, Dec 7: The civic authorities have vacated few petty shops, located besides Fr Muller Road, near the entrance of Fr Muller Charitable Institutions, on Friday, December 7 morning.

Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) officers accompanied by civic workers arrived at the spot and loaded the unauthorized stalls into their trucks.  The civic authorities have verbally informed the petty shop keepers some days ago, in order to vacate their shops.  Few stall keepers have voluntarily vacated their petty shops.  However, at the background of some of them disregarded the verbal orders, MCC authorities vacated their stalls.
