Mangalore Office of Kannada Literary Convention Inaugurated

Mangalore, Dec 6: The local office of All India Kannada Literary Convention to be held from Wednesday December 12 to Saturday December 15 was inaugurated in the office of Kalkura Foundation here on Wednesday December 5.

The office was inaugurated by former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat Harikrishna Punaroor.  Speaking on the occasion he said called on all the people to support the up coming literary convention of Udupi. 

Former MLA and president of reception committee of the Convetion Raghupati Bhat released the registration and publicity materials on the occasion.  He said that all are invited to participate in the Convention.  However, those who pay the minimum membership fee can avail certain benefits.

Senior writer Manorama Rama M Bhat, former MLA Yogish Bhat, Beary Sahitya Parishat president Abdul Rahiman, poet Dundiraj, Dr Vaman Nandavar, Ivan D'Souza, M G Hegde, B M Rohini and others were present on the occasion.
