M'lore: Daizy Vas Conferred with Doctor of Philosophy Degree

Mangalore, Dec 4: Daizy Vas, directress of Physical Education, Dr TMA Pai College of Education in Udupi district, was conferred with the degree of philosophy by the Mangalore University in the month of November.

She was conferred with doctor of philosophy degree for her thesis “An analytical study of sports programs in the High Schools of Udupi District in Karnataka.”

She has also represented Karnataka as a captain for throwball and volley ball team. She is also a national-level athlete.

Daizy Vas is wife of Desmond Vas and daughter of the late Maxim and Irene Rasquinha, Sagar.
