M'lore: SAE-India Inaugurated at Canara Engineering College

Mangalore, Nov 26: Society of Automative Engineers-Collegiate Club was inaugurated at Canara Engineering College, Benjanapadavu, Bantwal near here on Saturay November 24.

P Srinivas Raghavan, director, R&D, Nutek technologies Bangalore and chairman of SAE-India Bangalore section was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr U S Mohandas Nayak, president, CHS Association presided over the function.

The inaugural function was followed by technical seminars by Anantha and Narayan Das, EASI, Maruti, Mico Bosch, Mangesh Khare, Mind Tree and Anantha Gopalkrishna.

Dr L Dayananda Kini, principal, Dr S Ashok Kumar, dean academics, Prof B G S Prabhu, HoD of mechanical department along with the staff and students of mechanical department were present.

Latest trends and innovations in automotive sector were also presented. The chief guest emphasized the engineers to adopt the brand slogan “Engineered in India”.
