Mumbai, Nov 24: On behalf of herself and the Bachchan family, Aishwarya Rai has made a special request to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali .

The request is to see Bhansali’s latest film Saawariya which has been a subject of both criticism and praise from critics.

Though the Bachchans were invited to the premiere of ‘Saawariya’, they could not attend the event because Big B’s ailing mother was in critical condition.

Many days after the film’s release, Aishwarya Rai called Bhansali requesting him to organize a special screening of the film for the Bachchan family.

Needless to say, Bhansali readily agreed to do so.

The filmmaker shares a special bonding with Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya after having worked with them in Black , Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdaas .

Bhansali says he is eager to see the response of the Bachchans to the movie.

Meanwhile, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra recently saw the film and liked it very much.

Everybody especially the Younger Generation should see "Saawariya". It is a very good movie and it will be very meaningful for the Younger Generation. It shows How a Young Boy Sacrifices His Love. Do Watch it.
