M'lore: Konkani Academy to Organize 'Konkani Bazaar'

Mangalore, Nov 23: Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, here will be organizing 'Konkani Bazaar' a temporary out-let where all Konkani books published, Konkani audio cassettes, CDs' and VCDs', besides all Konkani newspapers will be displayed under one roof. As a special Christmas bonanza, greeting cards, stars, Christmas tree, decorating items, Christmas crib accessories, Christmas cakes and traditional 'Kuswar' will be available at the stalls.   'Konkani Bazaar' will be held at Infant Jesus Shrine, situated at Bikarnakatte, in the city from Thursday, December 21 to Monday, December 24.  All the Konkani products will be sold on special discounts.

Those Konkans who are interested in displaying their books, CDs', VCD's and other items are requested to contact, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy on Tel: (0824) 245 3167, at the earliest.   Moreover, all Konkani well wishers are urged to patronize 'Konkani Bazaar', in order to make it a grand success.
