Mumbai, Nov 16: John Abraham , one of the fittest actors in Bollywood, is a self-confessed sports freak.
The actor has deservedly been chosen as the face of the Mumbai Marathon, which will be held in January 2008. Apart from taking part in the marathon, John will also endorse a cause. He has yet to meet the organizers of the event to know his exact role in the event.
On another front, John has been selected as the brand ambassador for English Premier League, the top football league in England.
John’s selection has come just days before the release of his upcoming film Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal which is based on football and has been shot in England.
John says he is proud to be associated with football and has played the game regularly since his childhood and at times even captained his team.
The actor regrets that footballers in India do not get their due because of the dominance of other games.
