Hot, humid Sunday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, June 26 (IANS): It was a hot and humid Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded 29.6 degrees celsius, a notch above the season's average.

The Met has forecast the sky to be partly cloudy ahead.

The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 38 degrees celsius.

"It was a humid hot Sunday morning. However, the sky ahead is likely to be partly cloudy," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m was 71 per cent.

Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded 39.6 degrees celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 31.9 degrees celsius, four notches above the season's average.
