Aishwarya Donates Medical Equipment to Bhabha Hospital

Mumbai, Nov 8: The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan not only celebrated her birthday last week, but after returning from Agra, made a donation to a hospital.

Ash donated a C-Arm Image Intensifier to K K Bhabha Hospital, in Bandra here, on her birthday.

Ash has been actively involved with the treatment of poor at Bhabha Hospital for years now.

Reports are that when she learnt that the hospital authorities needed a C-Arm Image Intensifier because the previous one was too old, Ash got them a new one.

Ash took personal interest in the kind of intensifier that the doctors required and saw to it that the machine had apt technical features that was required by the doctors.

Hari Singh, Ash's business manager confirmed the news saying, “It is true that Ash donated a C-Arm Image Intensifier machine to Bhabha hospital on her birthday.”

He added that Ash has been actively involved with Bhabha Hospital making donations for the treatment of the poor.

Singh said, “For patients who cannot afford expensive treatments, Bhabha Hospital is a boon. It is good that we have such a hospital in city to give prompt treatment without bothering about the money.”
