Smriti Irani objects use of 'dear' for her

Patna, Jun 14 (PTI) : Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Bihar Education Minister Ashok Choudhary were today locked in a war of words over the latter addressing her as "dear".

"Dear@smritiraniji, when will we get new Education policy..? when will year 2015 end in your calender..?" Choudhary wrote in his twitter account.

But, the use of the word "dear" did not go down well with the Union HRD Minister.
"Mahilaon ko 'dear' keh ke kab se sambodhit karne lage Ashokji?" Irani replied in her tweet message.

Choudhary answered to her objection by another message on his micro blogging site.
"Not to disrespect but educate...professional email start with "dear". smritiraniji kabhi mudde pe jawab dijiye, don't circle around it," Chowdhary replied.

"@AshokChoudhaary all my communications to you or any other person start with 'adarniya', but since you are now communicating allow me 1/3," Irani said in another tweet.

On the Bihar Education minister's query about the new education policy she replied "@AshokChoudhaary have not received state views on education policy neither did you in your 1 on 1 meeting with me give any suggestions 3/3."

The war of words with the Bihar Education Minister came on a day when she was on a visit to Bhagalpur in connection with "Vikash Parv" observed by NDA on completion of two years in the office. Ashok Choudhary is also the state president of Congress.

    1. A well educated, a doctorate, Education minister of Bihar who tries his best to clean the dirt in education system, respects a lady / when she objected to be called as dear he apologized immediately which shows he is really well mannered and educated.
    2. A fake degree holding minister objects to b called as dear diverts the attention of country proves her utter failure as a education minister - becomes so cheap.

'English bolne se gyan nahi hota' (One does not acquire knowledge by speaking English only)," the minister said during his more than half-an-hour long speech delivered in Hindi.

He further said 'Don't try to be an Englishman, be an Indian first'.But He had sent his younger son, Neeraj, to study abroad, and his daughter Anamika worked in the United States.

Now it is the turn of Human resources Minister Smriti Irani with multiple degrees.

Why don't she addressed like 'Mata Rani'?It is more suits her television role and more rooted to Indian culture?

But, they will do anything and everything to send their children abroad. What kind of whipping these .........deserve?

Sriman Home Minister Singh is now telling that the people of U.P. are not very interested about the Ayodhya Temple. They were not at all concerned with the Ayodhya Temple but the BJP politicians like Advandi-Murali Manohar Joshi-Uma Bharti and the rest used the Ayodhya Temple card, killed thousands and created massive bloodshed. But the leaders are climbing up in their political career.

I am totally disappointed to read the comments made by many readers. The comments clearly reflects lack of courtesy, manners and respect which normally truly educated class exhibit with or without their knowledge. These comments itself indicates the education level of our DW readers. The communication skill, courage and standard &command over the the language English,Hindi and also in Sanskrit is astonishing.Though Late Indira Gandhi was higlhy qualified, this lady is far better in presentations and also she does not read from the prepared text. And she answers all the queries on the spot as she always keeps herself d.Most of the highly qualified ex-ministers of other parties are jealous about her ability.Definitely anytime she is far more able than Sonia. And also don't mix up education and qualification as education is not totally qualification. And more importantly she is not CORRUPT.

    You may be wholeheartedly backing
up Irani matha to burn all the British contributed text books of correspondence and communication and to shift the style of correspondence to the 15th century
style, " the real original India style".
