Bank record damaged in fire in Delhi


New Delhi, Jun 14 (IANS): A fire broke out on Tuesday on the rooftop of a building here, damaging some records of a bank that were kept there, a fire official said.

The fire was doused by four-five fire tenders within half an hour, the official said.

The building in Dwarka area houses a branch of Bank of Baroda whose records kept on the rooftop suffered damage. No one was injured.

The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained, the official said.
