New Delhi, June 12 (IANS): It was a sunny Sunday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.9 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky will be partly cloudy on Sunday. Light rains/thunderstorm are likely to occur towards evening or night," said an official of the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 51 per cent.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 38.7 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.4 degree Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
