Five dead as mosque roof collapses in Pakistan


Islamabad, June 10 (IANS): At least five people died and several others were injured on Friday when the roof of an under-construction mosque collapsed in Pakistan's port city of Karachi.

Several people were injured while many were trapped under the rubble of the two-storey Masjid-i-Usman near Landi Kotal Chowrangi, rescuers said.

The bodies of the victims were shifted to hospital.
