Saif Ali Khan Finds his Nest

Mumbai, Nov 1: After a long search, actor Saif Ali Khan has at last found a house he can call his nest.

For many months now Saif has seen various houses and apartments in search of his dream home. The search apparently began early this year when he was still with Rozza Catalano .

Saif had always been against high-rise apartments because they end up falling like a house of cards whenever there is an earthquake. However, he did like an apartment in a building.

The actor says in a media report that just when he was about to move into this apartment he found that the building’s elevator shaft ran through his living room. The idea of buying it was dropped there and then.

But now, Saif’s search has reportedly ended at a house on 29th Road in Bandra. The house is twice as spacious as the apartment Saif is presently living in.

Saif says he needed a spacious house because his two kids Sara and Ibrahim keep visiting him often. The new house will obviously have kids’ rooms.

The house won’t look like a bachelor’s pad. Saif wants proper interior decoration done before he moves into the house. For this he has reportedly roped in interior designer Renu Chainani, who previously designed Saif’s office.

However, it will take a couple of months to do the interiors. Saif would apparently be able to move in only by mid-2008.

i think media should not run behind these stars, who use them as stepping stone for being in teh news. Look what teh so called Big B had done to media during abhi"s weddding, i would say media shoudl have banned functions attended by Big B n family, only then he could realise the importance. He also ignored millions of fans, who created him as megastar, he ditched even his stardom creators.Media should ignore Big B n family

Dear Nelson, its something like 'Mass Media Hysteria'. Its also not out of context, if i mention about the attention Sanjay Dutt received, by media and portrayed before mass, there by creating sympathy wave in his favour, during his trial related to Mumbai blast. The press, whether a print media or electronic should be a watch dog of democracy, free from biased ,emotional, revenge oriented reporting. I feel sorry for Salmaan Khan and Krishnamruga hunting episode, as in this case personally i feel Salman was victim of media reporting.

There are many pressing and serious problems in the country, on which media should focus its attention. However, they try to make a big issue about Saif Ali Khan's attempts to locate an ideal house to serve as his bachelor's pad and yesterday media wasted enormous time in reporting about Aishwariya Rai's first birthday after marriage.

All the while, the Amitabh Bachchan and his family are using the media to portray themselves in positive light, but during their son, Abishek's wedding, they completely ditched the media, none of whom were given entry to grace to the occasion. The media was hanging outside their house for three days in the hot sun and they did not have the decency to offer food, refreshments and water to the media personnel standing there to cover whatever they could about this wedding event, if I may say so. Indian media should cover events that matter most, rather than spending a lot of energy on unwanted things.
