New Delhi, May 23 (IANS): It was a partly cloudy morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 30.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, a weather official said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy but rain is very likely to occur in evening or night," said an official of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius, said the official.
According to the weather office, the humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 51 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled at 42.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while minimum temperature was recorded at 28.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
