Salman Khan Offered 12 Crores for a Film

Mumbai, Oct 22: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is flying high ever since the success of Partner and now film producers and directors are flocking to work with him.

According to sources, Salman has been offered a whopping Rs.12 crores for a film with Shree Ashtavinayak and several other perks along with the film.

Shree Ashtavinayak is extremely upbeat to get Salman on board for their film and they are going all out to please the actor. They have met most of his demands. Sources claim that apart from the hefty Rs.12 crores remuneration, Salman has also been offered a 30 percent stake in the film after its release.

Director Priyadarshan has written a brilliant script which Shree Ashtavinayak will produce and they want Salman to be a part of this film. The planning for the film has just begun, and since it is a big budget film, a lot of planning is required and hence the film will begin only somewhere in 2009.

However since the planning is still in the initial stages, the production house does not want to reveal any plans yet.

A source also adds, “Salman will also be able to get the negative rights of the same film transferred to his name from Ashtavinayak after a minimal period of 15 years.”

This is being termed as one of Salman’s most lucrative deals. Though Salman has not worked much with big filmmakers, his popularity both in India and abroad is phenomenal.

Due to this popularity, Salman was supposedly even requested for a wax statue of his at the prestigious Madame Tussauds in London.

Salman is currently working with Subhash Ghai for Main Yuvraj opposite girlfriend Katrina Kaif .
