Mangalore, Oct 19: Kalotsava 2007, a state-level children's festival of art and communication skills, organized by Sandesha Foundation for Culture and Education, will be inaugurated by Bishop Aloysius P D’Souza of Mangalore, at 9 am on November 12 in the Sandesha premises.
The festival is open to Higher Primary, High School and PUC section students with competitions in Western singing (Solo), Western instrumental (keyboard) (solo), Drawing, Classical singing Carnatic/Hindustani (solo), Classical dance (solo), Folk songs (group), Folk dance (group), Patriotic Songs (group) and Variety entertainment.
The finale will be held on November 17, 2007 at 5 pm, the media release says further.
