Mangalore, Oct 14: A ‘Cash Back Scheme’ on usage of bank’s debit and credit card has been launched by Corporation Bank. This scheme is valid till January 14, 2008, informed a press release here.

During the period, cardholders will benefit from one to five per cent cash back on domestic Point of Sale (POS) transactions. This card may be used for shopping, paying at restaurants, airline booking among others. The cash back will accrue for each transaction separately to a maximum of Rs 1,000 per card during the campaign period.
Further according to the Corporation Bank general manager A Mohan Rao the offer was not valid for petrol, railway booking and ATM cash withdrawals. In keeping with its corporate policy of social responsibility, Bank would donate Rs 5 to charitable institutions for the cause of underprivileged for every first swipe of unused cards during the period.
