New Delhi, Apr 19 (IANS): It was a cloudy Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, the weather office said.
"The sky would remain partly cloudy throughout the day with dust and haze very likely to occur on Wednesday morning," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
According to the Met office, maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 53 percent while the visibility stood at 2,000 metres.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 40.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, seven notches above the season's average.
