Kundapur, Oct 13: Fr Francis Cornelio, parish priest of Byndoor Church felicitated Raju Poojary, the newly-elected president of Udupi zilla panchayat on behalf of Holy Cross Church, Byndoor, recently.
Accepting the honour Raju Poojary assured the people concerned that he will give priority towards some solving some nagging problems of Byndoor Church.
Fr Francis Cornelio presided over the function and Henry Lobo welcomed the gathering.
Shirthady William Pinto, advocate and Madan Kumar, member, zilla panchayat were chief guests for the occasion. Martin Dias, president Rotary Club, Byndoor compered the programme.
