When Shah Rukh Took Tips from Deepika Padukone

Mumbai, Oct 12: Shah Rukh Khan gave many advices to newcomer Deepika Padukone during the making of Om Shanti Om . But the roles were reversed at a recent fashion show to unveil the special ‘OSO’ clothesline by Shoppers' Stop.

SRK hasn’t walked the ramp much in his life (except for one or two times in the past). And before the segment when he was to step on the runway at the OSO fashion show on Tuesday, the superstar was a bundle of nerves.

It was co-stars Deepika Padukone and Arjun Rampal (who have been models) who gave a few tips to SRK. “I can do it!” SRK said with confidence before stepping on the catwalk.

And when he did step on the ramp, it was difficult to believe that SRK is not a regular ramp scorcher. Wearing a silver-grey suit with a T-shirt underneath, the superstar walked with ease, waved to the audience, did his characteristic adaab and broke into an impromptu jig to cheer the crowd.

The evening saw Deepika walking the ramp in a black ghagra choli. Shreyas Talpade had a retro look. He wore a body-hugging red t-shirt and black bell-bottom pants. Mustachioed Arjun Rampal wore a black leather coat with white hemlines.

When the four stars stood together on the stage, SRK took the mike and regaled the audience with his eloquence.

"Some models from the modeling world have learnt a little bit from us (actors) and tonight we actors have learnt much from them. It's a great feeling to walk the ramp," SRK said.

Later, Farah Khan joined the quartet on the ramp.

Among the guests were the usual suspects like Karan Johar (with his mother), Sajid Khan , Shirish Kunder , Gauri Khan , Mehr Jessia, and Deepika’s parents.
