Mangalore, Oct 9: A promotional scheme for landline customers for 90-days valid from October 1 in select exchanges in the city and Udupi has been launched by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, informed a press release here.

The principal general manager of Dakshina Kannada Telecom District in the release informed that under the scheme the installation charge of Rs 500 is waived within the scheme period. In places where fixed landline connection is not possible, “wireless in local loop” (WiLL) technology will be used, he added.

The exchanges at Car street, Marnamikatta, Pandeshwar, Kadri, Kankanady, Kavoor, Kodikal, Konchady, Kulshekar, Urwa, Bykampady, Mulki, Suratkal, Deralakatte, Ullal, Udupi and Manipal are covered under the scheme, informed the release.
