Kundapur, Oct 3: A protest would be organized at Byndoor to condemn the statement of chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Karunanidhi and MLA T R Balu who disparaged Sri Ram in the context of the Sethusamudram project.
This decision was taken at a meeting held at Sri Sitaram temple premises which was presided over by K Nagappa. Retired prof P Sheshappa Hebbar speaking on the occasion declared that the statement made by Karunanidhi was condemnable.
The protest march will begin from Sitaram temple to tahsildar’s office and the committee has requested all Hindus to take part in the protest.
Lecturer Venkatraman welcomed the gathering and Keshava Nayak led the programme.
On this occasion Manjayya Mastar, Babu Hegde Thagarse, Vishvanath Poojary, Sadhashiva D Paduvari, Shridhar Bijoor and Srinivas Maddodi were present at the meeting.
