Mangalore, Sep 26: The Mangalore City Corporation Authorities have started cleaning the city by seizing the illegal buntings, hoardings and cut-outs displayed by the political parties at public places, on Wednesday September 26.

The city corporation authorities carried their operation in places like Bunder, Kadri, Kadri temple road, Bunts Hostel, Bejai etc.

The city corporation officials said that the corporation will impose penalty against the respective political parties for displaying the campaigning materials illegally.

Hot debate:

The BJP activists took the city corporation officials to task while latter removed the cut-outs placed inside the private property.

The activists asked the officials to show the order letters issued by the election commissioner to remove the cut-outs placed inside the public property. A serious debate took place between them as the city corporation officials did not give satisfactory answer.
