Mangalore, Sep 26: Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will see huge investments in the coming year, as innumerable educational and IT industries are setting up their base besides the proposed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in the undivided district, an abode of major nationalized banks, said M M Kudva, deputy general manager of Canara Bank, Mangalore Circle.  

Speaking at the customers' meet held at their Valencia branch he urged the bank customers to make the best use of facilities offered by the bank.  At the same time he launched ‘Can Mediclaim’ health insurance.

Bank officer Bhavana Gopal provided information on various deposit and schemes.  Branch manager Prakash Hande welcomed.  K P Nayak proposed vote of thanks.  William D’Almeida compered the programme.
