Beltangady Sep 25: Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala All-religion and Literary Convention will be celebrating golden jubilee this year.  The golden jubilee celebrations are scheduled to be held from December 7 to December 9.  The former secretary general of United Nations Organization (UNO) Kofi Annan has been invited to inaugurate the convention, said Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala on Sunday September 23.

He was speaking to the media persons after inaugurating the office of ‘All-Religion and Literary Convention’ and laying foundation stone for the construction of golden jubilee convention centre, near Vasant Mahal, located at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala. 

In order to give a national and global touch to the convention Kofi Annan, former President Dr A P J Kalam, Sri Ravishankar of Art of Living, Udupi Pejavar Math Swamiji, Buddhists monks from Sri Lanka and other countries, Arch Bishop of either Mumbai or New Delhi will be invited to grace the inaugural ceremony scheduled to be held on Friday December 7. 

The chief minister will be invited to attend the inaugural on December 7, All Religion Convention on December 8 and Literary Convention on December 9.  A souvenir will be released at the same occasion, he said.

Harshendra Kumar, Prof S Prabhakar, secretary Dr B Yashovarma, Hemavati V Heggade, Supriya Harshendra Kumar were present at the press conference.
