Udupi, Sep 24: A Mahindra Pick-up laden with fish turned turtle at Uliargoli near Kaup on National Highway (NH) 17 on Sunday, September 23 night.
As as result the entire fish stock in the vehicle was scattered on the highway giving a feast day to the locals who picked fish from the spot and took home. The driver and the cleaner of the vehicle however, have managed to escape with minor injuries.
The speeding vehicle turned turtle after the driver lost control over the vehicle while trying to avoid potholes on the highway.
Kaup police have registered a case in this regard.
