Honnavar, Sep 24: Sanjay Dutt who was imprisoned for his alleged role in Mumbai serial blasts and released recently on conditional bail by Supreme Court, arrived here on Monday September 24 morning.  

He partook in various religious programmes including pujas held at Ganesh Mandir, located at Rayarakeri near here.  His local fans arrived in large numbers as he was expected to be present at the religious rites.  

Sanjay Dutt's family and the temple priest Raghavendra Bhat enjoy close relations, while the latter has been regularly performing pujas at the former’s residence in Mumbai.  Hence Sanjay arrived to attend special pujas in a bid to please Lord Ganesh to grant him relief from judiciary hussle.
