Karkala, Sep 23: Y Premananda Shenoy (82). owner of Shenoy Book Stores and newspaper stall in Market Road here, passed away at home after being ill for some time.

He was well known in the community and social circles here.

He is survived by wife and four sons and a daughter.

    I know shenoy mamu for long time, he is very kind and simple person, in my college days at bhuvanendra college and govt high school, i used to visit, whenever i needed any thing related to the study in 1980-1990's. i pray the god for his family to give the strengh to bear the loss god bless you
