Mangalore, Sep 15: Engineers' Day Celebrations - 2007 will be held in St Francis Xavier Church Hall, Bejai here on Monday September 17, on the occasion of the 147th birth anniversary of Bharatharatna Sir M Vishvesvaraya. The programmes is organised by Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi Engineers' Association and The Institution of Engineers (India).
K R Shenoy, chief engineer (Retd), Karnataka Public Works Department, will be the chief guest. B Padmanabha Rai, working president, KDKUE Association, will preside over the function.
Technical Model Exhibition will be held on the same day from 2 pm to 5 pm. The annual general body meeting of Kodagu, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi engineers' Association will also be held at 3.30 pm.
