Mangalore, Sep 13: The newly built Devadiga Community Hall, located at Mannagudda in the city, will be inaugurated on Sunday September 16 at 11am, said Babu Devadiga Amblamogaru, chief secretary, Karnataka State Devadiga Association, to the media persons, here on Thursday September 13. 

The hall will be inaugurated by K Rehman Khan, deputy chairman, Rajya Sabha while the programme will be presided over by M Veerappa Moily, former chief minister. The souvenir will be released by Oscar Fernandes, union minister of state for labour, he added.

Yogish Bhat, MLA, Dr B S Sheregar, vice-chancellor of Kuvempu University, B K Madur, chief general manager, Divan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd, Mumbai, will be the chief guests. 

Dr K V Devadiga, honorary president of the construction Committee, Dinesh Devadiga Kadri, president of Karnataka State Devadiga Association, Mangalore, K J Devadiga, vice-president were present at the press conference.
