Mangalore, Sep 11: The exhibition of paintings on lord Ganesh, created during the workshop ‘Varna Vinayaka,’ was held in Vidyadayini Complex at Honnakatte junction, near Suratkal recently.  The exhibition was organized by Ravishree Art Foundation.

The budding artists of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi have drawn these paintings during the workshop.

The workshop was inaugurated on Friday, September 7 by Geetha Bhaskar, artist and vice-president of NMPT Mahila Samaj. Ganesh Rao, chairman of Karavali College, presided over the function.

Around 25 paintings have been displayed at the exhibition. The exhibition will be open for all from 10-00 a m to 8-00 p m, till Ganesh Chaturthi. 

“The chief objective of the workshop and exhibition will be to promote art through the concept of lord Ganesh”, said S Ramesh Hebbar, president of Ravishree Art Foundation.
