Mangalore, Sep 10: “A single step taken courageously can take one to greater heights”, said Sr Elena, principal of  Victoria Pre-University College, Lady Hill here on Monday September 10.

She was delivering the inaugural address at district-level swimming competition held at Mangala Stadium swimming pool, jointly organized by department of public instruction and Victoria Pre-University College, Lady Hill on Monday September 10.

“One should start taking similar steps at school-levels; then only he or she can aim for national and international levels” she added, while emphasizing on the significance of students taking part in extra curricular activities in schools. 

Dr Asha Jyothi Rai of Parents-Teachers Association, Sr Yolaine, joint secretary of Victoria Girls’ Composite PU College, Lady Hill and M K Nayak, superintendent of district physical education and teachers were present.
