Udupi Sep 10: The federation of Prerana Navodaya’s Self Help Groups (SHGs) was inaugurated by the vice-president of SCDCC Bank, Ramesh Shetty at Alevoor here, on Sunday September9.
Speaking on the occasion, Shetty emphasizing the role of women in the villages declared that rural areas can make progress, only if women become financially self-sufficient.
K K Saralaya, president of Korangarapady Cooperative Agricultural Bank, presided over the function.
