Mangalore, Sep 5:  Mumbai based NGO Jayashreekrishna Parisara Premi Samiti, organized a day-long discussion meet with student union leaders at Hotel Mohini Vilas here, on Wednesday September 5 morning.

“The employment bureau will be set up, for the benefit of youth from DK district.  The scope for setting up of chemical factories across the district ought to be repulsed at any cost.  Besides, the development of district would have to be held as per the demands set forth by the committee.  The development should not pose threat in the future.  Our district has been witnessing sectarian issues/communal violence, in the recent times, which seems to be not a healthy sign.  We all are children of Mother India who are expected to lead harmonious life in the society. No amount of progress would be possible with sectarian following.  The district has been deprived of development owing to the few vested interest and corrupt politicians, in the past.  Therefore, the students who are the future citizens of our nation need to be cautious of repeating the similar incidences in the future.  We should vow to live with our families earning decent income within our district, thereby restraining from migrating to other states and abroad, in search of jobs.  The non-government organization, Jayakrishna Eco-Environmentalists Committee would strive to secure jobs for the youth within the district”, Committee founder president, said Jayakrishna A Shetty.

“The bright future awaits the youth. We are sacrificing our resources, thinking that our youth should not go through the hardships that we have gone through, living a lonely life, in Mumbai. It’s our true concern without any selfishness involved, said Committee president, Vishwanth.

Vishwanath U Mada, committee president, Rons Bantwal, honorary secretary, Ramachandra Baikampady, K P Jagdish Adhikari, district vice presidents, Amithraj B, president, Mangalore University All College Students' Union, Srijith, executive president, Shivaprasad Shetty, honorary chief secretary,  Shashikumar Kubanoor, convenor, Ravi D Bangera, advisor, Dinakar Shetty, legal advisor and others were present.
