Now, school for seafood lovers in Kerala


Kochi, Jan 14 (IANS): Abad Fisheries, a leading seafood company in the country, is set to open a School of Fish here for the overall development of the seafood industry, the company said on Thursday .

The new institute is designed for the promotion of best practices in the seafood industry, along with the objectives of improving the quality of seafood from sea to fork, skill development of the professionals, employability of the students and to attract more talent into the seafood industry.

Named Abad School of Fish, it will be conducting different short and medium term courses for different stakeholders and members across the seafood value chain.

"The courses are offered to home chefs, hobby chefs, housewives, students, professionals and all other seafood lovers. 

"The school will introduce modern equipment and teach the latest technology adopted by the developed countries for fishing," Faraz Javeed, director of Abad Fisheries, said.
