Five killed in attack on Turkey police headquarters


Ankara, Jan 14 (IANS): At least five people were killed and 36 injured in a car bomb attack on a police headquarters in Turkey's Cinar district, BBC reported.

A woman and a baby are reported among the dead.

Officials blamed the blast on Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militants, who are active in the mainly Kurdish province.

No group has so far said it carried out the attack.
